Playoff Basketball is Back!

Recapping the games you didn't watch

I love me some basketball. I’ve spent more time than I should have watching these quadruple headers over the last two days. My sleep schedule is off, but my heart is full.

Here’s my two-sentence recap of each of the opening round games:

Jazz vs. Nuggets (W) 125-135 OT

Donovan Mitchell dropped 57 points. Jamal Murray didn’t care.

Nets vs. Raptors (W) 110-134

VanVleet/Basketball Drake is still making shots.  To the Raptors doubters, laugh now, cry later.

76ers vs. Celtics (W) 101-109

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the new peanut butter & jelly. They’re going to be good together for a long time.

Mavs vs. Clippers (W) 110-118

WTF are you doing refs!?!?!? After losing his #2 option to a bogus ejection, Luka showed why he is the reincarnation of Larry Bird, but still lost to a better team.

Magic (W) vs. Bucks 122-110

The Bucks, who pride themselves on defense, played very poor defense. It’s hard to win that way.

Heat (W) vs. Pacers  113-101

Jimmy Bulter still doesn’t like TJ Warren so made sure his team won. The ‘stache took the opening game.

Thunder vs. Rockets (W) 108-123

Chris Paul was dumped by James Harden last year and tried to show his ex-boo that he missed out on a good thing; Harden didn’t notice.

Blazers (W) vs. Lakers 100-93

The Lakers didn’t hit shots. Dame Lillard did.
