Billionaire Robert Smith Explains The 2% Solution To Structural Racism In America
Summarizing an already short video, structural racism is also economic. Some stats:
- There are 4700 banks in America. 21 are black owned.
- Those 21 black-owned banks have less than $5b in assets. The total amount of assets in commercial banks in the US is $20 trillion (with a T).
What would happen if all of the major corporations put 2% of their net income in those banks every year over 10 years?

Naval’s Recommended Reading
Naval is full of modern-day wisdom. He receives my highest praise because he’s applied this wisdom to great success in both business and investing (yes, he’s a billionaire too). But his true calling is to share these insights with the world.
I think he’ll go down as our generation’s Charlie Munger.
