Dealing with uncertainty sounds tough, but it’s actually simple.

In uncertain times (and really, in all times), the key is to focus on what doesn’t change. Some call it “controlling the controllables.” Others recognize it in the Serenity Prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

However you’ve internalized this, now more than ever, you need to be locked in on what you can move forward—your fitness, how you feed your mind and body, how you show up in relationships, how you spend your time and money, and keeping the promises you’ve made in life and work.

There’s power in locking in on what you control. When you do, the things outside your control lose their grip on your present, fade into the background, and no longer dictate your future.
